ImageSigns post Marco Polo is located just 35Km north of Auckland, at Hatfields Beach. Being at the gateway to the north we make an ideal stopping point both on your travels to the north and on your way back south. Theres no need to stay in a busy noisey city when you can start or finish you travels here and yet be close to the city as required.

BY BUS: Auckland Stagecoach Bus 894 or 895 from outside the ASB building in Wellersley Street, Auckland to Hibiscus Coast and close to our front door (or Bus 899 to Orewa where we will be happy to pick you up).

BY CAR: Take highway 1 to the Orewa and then Hibiscus Coast Highway  north. Just north of Orewa to the top of the hill, 200 meters past Hillcrest Avenue, left into Hammond Avenue about 50 meters and then left into our drive (second on the left - check for the sign). We are located close to, but not directly on the Main Highway North.

 







entrance sign BY CYCLE: From Auckland you have two options:
1/ Take East coast bays road to Silverdale, and then via Orewa to Hatfields beach.
2/ Take any number of roads to Albany and then take state highway 17 to Silverdale. Then Orewa and on to Hatfields beach.

It is easy hitchhiking from here, or book your discounted bus ticket to the North with us.
